Living in tropical Cairns, right next to the ocean and the Great Barrier Reef, and having the rainforest on the other side, is truly amazing! Because oh my god! This location! Stoney Creek is absolutely perfect for elopements! The ceremony was just a small hike, about 5 minutes into the forest and down to the creek. The surroundings were also perfect for the bridal portraits afterwards.

Amies purple coloured wedding dress really suited the deep greens of the rainforest. And the choice of wedding flowers worked perfectly in sync with the dress and the location.

I hope I’ll get to do a Stoney Creek Wedding or Elopement again because I absolutely love this little spot!
