Being a Cairns wedding photographer is such a joy. I had the most fantastic day photographing the wedding of Kirsten and Luke! The wedding took place at Wangetti Beach, just north of Cairns on the way to Port Douglas, in Far North Queensland. They chose to celebrate and declare their love by one of the most secluded of the beaches around Cairns, with lots of diverse spots for the bridal photography session after the ceremony, and a stunning view of the sparkling ocean.

The sun hid behind the clouds, which made all the colours of the wedding really pop in the even and smooth light. Perfect light for wedding photography! I really do feel lucky to live in this part of the world and to be able to take photos of the most special moments in a couple's lives.

Are you getting married in an unconventional spot? On the sands of Ellis Beach or in the trees at Wangetti Beach? Between the Palm trees at Little Cove Port Douglas? You don't need a venue for the ceremony! Just a beautiful backdrop and there are plenty of those around here!
